The Art Walk, organized by the Gallery District Association, takes place every Thursday from October to July, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the renowned Gallery District of San José del Cabo. Centro

El centro como punto de partida.
El centro es el punto que se encuentra a la misma distancia de todos los puntos.
 
La composición matemática y orgánica que encontramos en la naturaleza, la estética que ofrece la vida, lo natural,  la configuración humana en su orden natural condiciona la vida misma.
 
La composición en la pintura durante siglos se mantuvo como uno de los elementos formales de la estructura de una obra de arte y el equilibrio como la distribución armónica de los elementos en los que a partir del centro se desplazan puntos casi o igual de importantes que el centro.
 
C E N T R O es un proyecto artístico que pretende desestabilizar visualmente el orden a partir del centro y sus posibilidades de composición, ya sea en simetría y sus distintos tipos. Simetría radial, reflectiva, radical, etc.
 
La mariposa es un ejemplo cotidiano y natural para hacer referencia a un orden simétrico, la serie en xilografía titulada “La apariencia de la simetría” habla justo de desestabilizar esta idea de que lo que existe de un lado tiene que suceder del otro, la misma textura de la madera es la que visualmente interrumpe este orden aparente.
 
En mi proceso creativo he trabajado constantemente con dualidades, sombras y reflejos, palíndromos; esta nueva serie es una nueva forma de abordar la pintura, su historia y sus posibilidades.

Center

The center as a starting point.
The center is the point that is at the same distance from all the points.
 
The mathematical and organic composition that we find in nature, the aesthetics offered by life, the natural, the human configuration in its natural order conditions life itself.
 
The composition in painting for centuries remained one of the formal elements of the structure of a work of art and the balance as the harmonic distribution of the elements in which from the center points are moved almost or equally as important as the center.
 
C E N T R O is an artistic project that aims to visually destabilize the order from the center and its possibilities of composition, either in symmetry and its different types. Radial, reflective, radical symmetry, etc.
 
The butterfly is a daily and natural example to refer to a symmetrical order, the woodcut series entitled "The appearance of symmetry" speaks just to destabilize this idea that what exists on one side has to happen on the other, the same Wood texture is the one that visually interrupts this apparent order.
 
In my creative process I have worked constantly with dualities, shadows and reflections, palindromes; this new series is a new way of approaching painting, its history and its possibilities.

Las Ropas Caen

La presente exposición es una breve muestra de arte erótico contemporáneo. Basada en criterios subjetivos, cada obra tiene las pasiones y preferencias que los artistas buscaron en su experiencia personal. Todos coinciden en la representación del cuerpo humano, casi siempre desnudo, exhibido en solitario, en parejas y en algunos casos en grupos. Veo en estas piezas una obsesión por el cuerpo femenino, aun las mujeres artistas incluidas en esta muestra pintan y representan el cuerpo femenino como pilar del erotismo y la sensualidad. El cuerpo masculino también está representado, ya sea como una ensoñación, un deseo o una experiencia vivida. Como aquellas obras donde el autor evoca un recuerdo del campo, la lluvia y el deseo.
Sin los sentidos involucrados el acto amoroso carecería de encanto, ya que a través de ellos percibimos el mundo exterior, el cuerpo de otra persona. Las ropas caen, ya han caído, nos hemos despojado de ellas de manera presurosa o con la calma que solicita nuestra pareja, en ambos casos el deseo y la excitación están presentes. Los artistas han sabido representar el cuerpo del otro, y con este acto creativo se han representado a sí mismos, nos han revelado un poco de su vida privada. Ellos lo invitan a usted, a que llegado el momento, deje caer también sus ropas.

When the clothes fall

This exhibition is a brief sample of erotic contemporary art. Based on subjective criteria, each piece has the passion and preferences that each artist searched for in their personal experiences. All of them coincide on the representation of the human body, almost always naked, exhibited alone, in couples and in some cases in groups. I see in these works of art an obsession with the female body, even the women artists included in this exhibition paint and portrait the female body as the pillar of eroticism and sensuality. The male body is also portrayed, as a dream, a desire or a lived experience; as with works where the author evokes a memory of the countryside, rain and desire.
Without the senses involved, the act of love would lack enchantment, since it is through them that we perceive the surrounding world, the body of another person. The clothes fall. They have already fallen, we have taken them off in a hurry or with the calm requested by our partner. In both cases, desire and excitement are present. The artists have been able to represent the body of the other, and with this creative act, they are representing themselves, they have revealed a bit of their private life. They have invited you, so that when the time comes, you'll also let your clothes fall.
